  • One mistake in the video is that if an officer has the right to search your glove compartment, the officer does NOT need to explain that reason to you at the time of the search. If the officer finds contraband in your glove compartment and the D.A. wants to use it to prosecute you, the D.A. will have to prove that the officer had probable cause to search. You can also just ask the police department later, such as through the incident report, ultimately being able to file a 42 USC 1983 lawsuit.

  • @hh1n: Yes, these rights apply to persons under 18. They also mostly apply to non-citizens.

  • LOL Mr. BONAR!!!!!!!!

  • Good to know, luckily none of these events would take place at my school because of the way we work.

  • @hh1n Yes--to an extent.

  • @jdclyde Why are you arguing about someone would of done 200 years ago. Get over yourself. Get in the present.

  • Do these rights apply to persons under 18?

  • That's not the issue. The issue is that unless they have probably cause, they have no rights under the Fourth Amendment to search students or students' property.

  • You are somewhat correct. I advise you to review federalist paper number ten for personal clarification. FP10 suggests that having few factions controlling the government is dangerous to liberty. The solution to this problem was having MORE factions. Thus, the founding fathers would indeed and did support having more than two political parties.

  • Wrong FreeUSmind, our founding fathers would never have approved of ANY political parties controlling and manipulating the population.
