This is a demonstration video of my first creation in Game Maker 8 (lite version).
It probably took a couple days, totaling about idk... 6 hours?
Featuring a tug o war style combat that gets you to take control of a ball over the opponent. It's a two player game. There are some bugs but none of them are THAT bad... and mostly rare.

Not bad...you say this is your first game? Pretty nice. A cpoule things: unless this is part of the game, the players fly around the area when they hit the ball. I have no idea what's in that code of yours, but it smells like trouble. Also, the power meter should probably be changed. I believe it would be infuriating to have to knock down your opponent's power meter before gaining points for your own.
