ive had both, this video is a lie, my ds 650 smokeed my old 700 raptor, hated the 700 to top heavy and narrow ds handle 100 times better, its wider, its longer, comes with bead locks, ready to race from the factory

all i had to do to beat the the 700 was put an 89.00 cdi box on my ds and i could smoke the raptor every time !!

Im sorry man, this video is not a lie. If you said "everything you have to do is to put the cdi", so imagine what would happen if you put the same cdi to the raptor.

My 04 Baja x is very fast has light mods, carb, exhaust etc . Rotex engines are bulletproof, and has beat raptor 700s and everything below.

to me it looks like it was all about the riders a rattle apart raptor 700 and a discusting ds are real close power to speed wise lets not forget 50cc's out there i own a 03 baja 650 stock xcept a k&N filter i'll go head to head with anything it's the hole shot n who can climb the gearbox faster this video it was the operator

A raptor is not even as fast as the Tex 700 which only does 77 and that's on flat top the DS beats it

A stock ds650 x does 85 plus mine with pipe hit close to 90 a rape raptor 700 all day and the rotex engine is one of the best in am ATV do your research

all of you guys dont know what your talking about!a raptor 700 would beat a ds 650 a ds 650 weighs alot and does like 75mph a raptor 700 has a bigger borexstroke which means has a better top speed plus rotax engines are junk any can am is junk compared to a yamaha a stock raptor 660 would beat a stock ds 650!my yfz 450 would blow away a ds 650

@ricardoruizserna it's more than true , raptors aint got shit compared to the rotax engine. they have low end torque but in high end power it's not even close. My DS is king of sand and snow. rappys got a nice advantage in the trails cuz they maneuver well and the raptor does have a reverse. but for the lack in performance I'd go for the DS anytime. why settle for slower.....

@ricardoruizserna the stock rev limit on the ds650 is 7900 from years 2003 and up, thats why.
