okay, so this is like way late to write a comment, but I just had to say that you are SOOO right about Clean and Clear (and other products like that)! I have tried to make these products work for me many times, and always end up with irritated skin that is worse than when I started. I do love Clarins products though :)

Please try the Clean and Clear Foaming Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin. It is very affordable and this removes all your make up and does not aggrevate your skin. I do not have to do an extra make up removal step with this one. Unless I wear heavy eye make up.
