… They were tough times for my parents, but I used to love coming up here (I'm now a student living in London). It's a credit to the staff that I used to enjoy myself on the Children's Ward so much – despite the numerous operations and check-ups. I'm very grateful for the NHS and for the work that my consultant, his team, and the nurses on the old Children's Ward have carried out. I owe them my most sincerest thanks!
Fantastic! I remember the old days on the previous Children's Ward in the main hospital. BTW im not big headed but i helped raise the money for the building to be built... then the first time i went i was actually very disappointed... but oh well i still wish id seen the lights.... and very true most of us cant see it! Xdd
