… They were tough times for my parents, but I used to love coming up here (I'm now a student living in London). It's a credit to the staff that I used to enjoy myself on the Children's Ward so much – despite the numerous operations and check-ups. I'm very grateful for the NHS and for the work that my consultant, his team, and the nurses on the old Children's Ward have carried out. I owe them my most sincerest thanks!

Fantastic! I remember the old days on the previous Children's Ward in the main hospital. I have great memories of all the staff, including Sister Ero, who sadly passed away unexpectedly several years ago. I remember that Ward in so much detail ten years on – the list of films on the wall in the kitchen, that long walk up to the main desk (or at least how it felt at the time), the smell, the warm sunny London days, the ice creams that came in those little blue wrappers, …

Ughh i just missed them i went on jan 6!
BTW im not big headed but i helped raise the money for the building to be built... then the first time i went i was actually very disappointed... but oh well i still wish id seen the lights.... and very true most of us cant see it! Xdd

I love this building, the colour is great and the it must take away some of the fear for the kids having to go to hospital
