  • look lets face it ,this is a far better version than the california jams version.

now im for the glen hughes more exposure society ,so if its all about the money you copyright infringment freaks! good on you,,, lets do more shelving like the gagas. the coles the take thats and the x factors just to let real talent to shine..i thank you

  • awesome.......what a version....glenn voice keeps getting better with age..

  • I'not sure,we should call it the test of time.Glenn passed this test increadibly well.

Probobly much better, than the other guys from Deep Purple did.

  • I love glenn hughes, he is one of my favourite vocalists

  • good point

  • whitesnake should play mistreated these days, coverdale is the best to sing this song

  • would of been better if hughes had replaced gillan in purple instead of joe lyn turner back in the early 90s

  • This post just proves that you've NEVER heard a whole show with Glenn Hughes.

It's ok to be a sceptic, but Glenn is nothing like Gillan at all. Glenn's influences is in the soul genre mostlyl, artists like Stevie Wonder, Sly & the Family Stone. From what you're saying about Coverdale, I reckon you never heard anything he did outside Purple as well, you seem to be a pretty narrow minded MK2 fanboy.
