Произношение слов портит всю картину, когда к примеру ты пытаешься читать книгу, а в уме про себя проговаривать слова не выходит, из-за того, что не знаешь произношения этого слова или тебе трудно произнести - это слово. Как я завидую тем, у кого английский - это родной язык, так как все стремятся учить именно его, а после русского - это невыносимо, так что у меня и любовь и ненависть переплелись воедино.

English is a "characteristic of England" .. and all foreign nations should use their own native language. Sure have English as a SECOND language... but keep your native language as the first.

1) Hi guys, I'm from Russia and i wanna share with my opinion. My english is still bad as fuck (i know you don't give a shit about what i'm saying) but i'll try to explain.

After translating a lot of sitcoms like "i love lucy" and other series where pepole talk too much i started to hate english because it's freaking primitive, dead and so on.

@aripjap "pleased to meet you" means that you are happy to meet someone. "Nice to meet you" is very similar, it means that it is a good thing that you are meeting someone.

@achicknamedMO It's fine to say "Good" when someone asks "How are you" Maybe it's not "proper" I don't know I never read an English grammar book, but we say it all the time. :)

@achicknamedMO That's what my pedantic English grandfather would have said. So tell me, does one ask "Does every student have his or her book?" or does one ask, "Does every student have their book?"

To further make the point, does one ask a lone listener, "How art thou?" or "How are you?" The point is of course that language undergoes a constant process of change and so long as the process isn't so fast that communication is impaired then the changes are inevitable.
