I own this guitar and two two other Masterbilts. They are REALLY great, well-made guitars for the money. I really like the darker burst finish, too. :)

The Esonic2 Sucks, (not reliable at all) but the guitar itself is great for the money.

I have this guitar and it is simply amazing for the price. I have a friend that plays very high end Martins and he was extremely impressed with the DR500MCE playability and tone. He played it non-stop for about an hour one evening. You can't go wrong with this guitar.

no offense but to my ears it sounds kind of dull...old strings maybe?

Just played this guitar at Guitar Center it sounds fantastic, i didn't want to leave without it but alas don't have 600 bucks to spend will definitely be on my wish list.
