Weather station at my research site in the heart of the Dust Bowl, southwestern Kansas (west of Moscow, KS). The rain gauge is on the left, and the shield around it is to disrupt wind so that the rain totals are accurate. On the tower there are two anemometers, a sensor for solar radiation, a sensor for air temperature and relative humidity, a cell phone antenna, and the control box contains a datalogger and a cell phone. Below ground there are several soil moisture and temperature sensors.
