How to SR (Soft-Reset) in Pokemon Games

Many people still ask me how to SR in Pokemon games. SR is an abbreviation for "soft reset". It's what happens when you press a combonation of buttons on your system to reset the game without turning the system off, which saves time, trouble, and your system since turning it off and on all the time can't be good for it.

For GBA Pokemon games you press the A button, B button, Start and Select at the same time on either GBA or DS.

For DS Pokemon games, it's a little different, you have to press L button, R button and Start and Select all at the same time to soft reset.

People SR to get shiny Pokemon or Pokemon with good IVs.
