  • Ok so I made a backing track to this song, if anyone wants to have a listen just visit my video's or go to btracks.com, happy singing!

    Brad

  • Everyone in this production is trying to sound like the original cast. At least it seems like it. Not good.

  • none of these "actors" deserve to even watch this perfect subject matter!!!

Stop sucking at EVERYTHING then may be you all can audition for chorus parts...

  • Pretty great voices, pretty bad acting :/

  • i like it but i do agree that she shud of been alot more softer this song is the one song where she is showing a weaker softer side i think the point just didnt work but she can sing soooooo well

  • Look...girl can sing, I give her that. But the conflict that I see in this interpretation is Queenie vs. Black. "Oh YEAH! Well maybe I LIKE it this way! Did'ja ever think of THAT!?" The conflict is meant to read more Queenie vs. Queenie. As if the song could have a subtitle: "Maybe I Like It This Way (Even though I know I souldn't.) There's no "even though I know I shouldn't" in the interpretation.

    She sounds defiant/petulant.

  • how can you say this song is all introspection? there's another person in this scene that she's talking to. ya, there's an introspective part to it, for sure. and i like her more powerful vocal take on this. if you were at that moment coming to terms with your co-dependance on Burrs, i don't know that you would sing quietly and softly about it.

  • She's missed the point. This song is all introspection. A first-time realization. Or at least it's supposed to be.

  • I don't believe one word she's saying...not good

  • this song must be sang more gentle. and slower.

    lol

but i like this version still!
