Magic Johnson announces his retirement from Basketball

It seems just like yesterday that I remember watching this clip. Yet, it has been 15 years since Earvin "Magic" Johnson shocked the world by announcing he was retiring from the game after learning that he had contracted the HIV virus.
Note: He did come out of retirement to join the Lakers in the 1995-96 season, only to lose to the Houston Rockets in the first round of the playoffs.

@propsilence2005 Obviously neither did you, or your teachers lied to you, more probably your teachers lied to you, and even better still, they probably didn't realise they were lying to you. It's called "lies to children". Kind of like tell children that tidal patterns are caused by the moons grativational forces. Sort of true, but mostly not.

yet again you make no sense..i guess there is no hope for you after all..i tried...three times to enlighten you but you are too far gone into ignorance..what you are saying has no effect on me so you are wastign your time and breath..you would never say anything you are saying here to my face & that is what matters to me... Since when does any virus have a cure? Virus (=) equals no cure. Only bacterial infections have cures. Lots of people missed Biology in school.
