  • @RavensysteM its a kernal + driver issue... unless the devs come up with something newer or better, we are gonna be stuck with the weird bad dual-touch htc driver for a while :/

and hardware....... cant really trust on the info we have now for the HD2 xD 720p recording on WP7 is a good example

  • @GeneralBaker200 Its a hardware issue. If you put your Touchscreen under real bright light, you can always see the sensor lines. On all other phones , the lines are in very tight square grids while on the HD2, the lines cross each other diagonally, leaving very big gaps in between. Thus, if you have an android rom - like me - and using the "Multitouchtest" app, you see that if you make a line with 2 Fingers and turn it around, it "jumps" and doesnt move smoothly.

    Still HD2 kicks ass, WP7!

  • @reditus2 thats why there has to ba an android custom ROM for HD2

  • @sethgabi multi-touch is more than one finger. it may only support 2 fingers but it is still multi-touch. sadly the multi-touch in windows mobile is buggy, it is nothing wrong with the hardware but the windows driver is not very good, so when you have two finger's vertical or horizontal the multi-touch goes a little nuts, like you can see in the video it kept drawing lines you never put there.

  • @sethgabi why would you need more than "double touch"? u only need multitouch for pinch to zoom, and that`s it...

  • Its not multitouch! Its just double touch! multi means more than two. So its not true multitouch.I think...

  • @MacorgaZ: I got this device and i play SNES emulator with multitouch. i can run, jump and stuff like this with both fingers on screen at same time. The prob with this is that windows mobile doesnt support multitouch. but winmob7 will change it.

Multitouch works as the hardware can do it - it is just a software issue and the guys at xda do a great job programming multitouch software.

People need to change their behavior regarding the developers of software .

  • @djpuente Look at 0.23 and then please tell me that this multitouch doesn't suck, even if it is a beta.

  • @MacorgaZ: It's a beta you moron!
