Resurrection
Written by Ian Black
Read by Matt Forde
Resurrect the dawn, ignite the sky,
Signal to the feathered choir standing by:
Infuse the air with jubilant song,
Unfurl the summer fields, lay us thereupon.
Abolish the night, it won't be missed,
Call out to the winter winds: They've been dismissed.
Unfreeze the streams, let the rivers flow,
Bring the world to colour, let the flowers grow.
Gather golden sands upon the shore,
Jagged rocks of old are coveted no more.
Let the sun be soft, in rosy hue,
Tell it to the world: My heart belongs to you.
