@SuperJOSHDuper yeah, it was a 44. magnum, and he did shoot him 5 times, but watch it again, he says and shows the other doctor the bullets that are made of adamantium, and he says that normal bullets cannot pierce his adamantium skeleton, which is why they need the adamantium bullets to pierce his skull and go into his brain, he would still heal, but his memories would not.

they say the spin off will ignore xmen origins wolverine but the only way they will reference the film in my opinion is if deadpool makes fun of it
