@fourtriangles2112 You are definitely Gen X. Individuals born in 1980 are definitely Gen Y. The first individuals born of a generation and the last individuals born of a generation must have shared some common experiences to belong to the same generation. Most GenXers are old school, were generally self reliant.
Most of Us Gen Xers are children of parents who themselves were children during the depression of the 30s. They too had to be self reliant.

@ZombieCobain They are definitely GenX. Get your facts straight. The majority of boomers went through duck and cover drills in the 50's and were drafted into the Vietnam War. No one born in 1960 served in Vietnam.
