i see this as a very similar designto hte paternoster elevator however this looks ike it can generator greater lift...but what happens during a power outtage and is it safe to expose people with electronics (ipods, pacemakers, cell phones etc.) to such powerful magnets? and also would these elevators be similar to ones in japan where it stops for 10 seconds on each floor than leaves or do you use call and floor buttons?
