WOW, apparently theres a lot more to making food-wrapper clothes, accessories, etc. than i thought!!! i want to make a raincoat out of wrappers but im not sure how to keep them attached properly cuz i figured sewing would rip 'em all up, tape sure wont hold esp. in the wash and i dont even know about glue... CAN you even machine wash wrapper-made items???

hi! I am trying to make a 17inch (or around 50 wrappers) chain out of dum-dum wrappers, but I can't seem to get the wrappers to stay together. The (resized) wrappers are 3.5"x1.5". I can get the chain connected, but when I try to attach the ends, the middle breaks. I watched and understood the video you made about attaching the ends, my problem is that the chain doesn't stay together very well. do you have any suggestions/can you tell me why it is breaking apart? thanks for the vid and help! :D

@cgirl294 hi, erm not sure what to say, some times the wrappers dont stay folded properly and become loose thats why i always add a lining of paper to themit only has to be thin like from a news paper or magazine, have you done that?, if you have then i dont know what else to sugest sorry :)

we used to do this with gum wrappers in the 60's. We made necklaces and such.

@mogwaimovies hand wash. anything made of that stuff would have to be handwashed. :( i personally HATE handwashing anything.
