  • @crytekengine Nothing was taken from Syria or from any other country. We were split, that I admit, but A Lebanese can then tell a Syrian " hey they took you from us, Lebanon should get back Syria"

The only thing Syria got from "greater Syria" is the name...

  • @didahomi My deepest love to Syria, for sure. But whether u like it or not, Lebanon exist now..and that is what our generation knows, and wont accept anything else. So lets live two nice "jiran"!

  • @marcn404 well said.

  • the song is based on the Syrian song, true.

But Lebanon has always existed through history, it's even mentioned more than 70 times in the old testament. Not to mention the Phoenicians.

Furthermore, the French didn't take Syrian land and add it to Mount Lebanon, they actually gave back to Lebanon what the English "Devron" had taken from Lebanon in 1860.

Don't just pretend knowing history, give facts like these to be considered plausible!

  • LOVE THIS SONG, PURE LEBANESE, PURE FOLKLORE.. ZAYYENO EL SA7AAAA, W SA7A LINAAAAA :D

  • the lovely play is lebanese, true. but this song is syrian whether u like it or not. the syrians used to sing it after their independence in 1946. zayyinoo el marjeh. so guys just enjoy the play. and to that ignorant who started itching and had allergic reaction as soon as someone mentioned syria, just go and read properly about history before u talk rubbish. lebanon IS A MOUNTAIN throughout history and only existed as country when the french seperated it from SYRIA. u like it or not i dont care

  • @sarayo283

i doubt that he understood that!! :-P
