Colorado massacre: total surveillance didn't work?

A massacre at a Colorado movie theater leaves 12 dead and dozens more wounded, and authorities have countless questions over what exactly happened and what the shooter's motives were. In a nation surrounded by surveillance, RT questions if all of this security really makes Americans any safer. To discuss this tragedy, RT's Liz Wahl is joined by Brian Doherty of Reason Magazine. Your stupidity is at a high level. You don't need a gun to kill a large number . A teen in China killed 8 with a knife in the daylight look it up! You don't need an assault rifle for sure but the rest of us like the freedom. Wonder why all the shootings take place in gun free zones because this assholes know no one will be there to shoot back. Oh and an arsenal is more than a rifle shotgun and a pistol. The guy in the interview did a great job.

The public( the ones that have the right to buy a gun, not the criminals) should have access to any weapon that maybe used against us, this would include an assault weapon, night vision, ammunition, and so on... We the people are constitutionally bound to protect this country from all threats foreign and domestic, or it is no longer "We the People of the United States of America", nor will it be "of the People and by the People" The politicians are correct we as a people have gotten lazy.

Are you fucking kidding me? He's LYING to you. There have been 58 mass murders in the past 30 years and are INCREASING. There were 4 years b/w virginia tech and Gillford shooting. 1 year b/w that and the aurora shooting and less than a month b/w the aurora shooting and the sikh temple shooting. Homicides might be falling, but the rate at which mass killings happen is INCREASING. NOONE should be allowed the right to carry an assault rifle;Look at other developed countries no guns,no mass murders!
