@ParanormalSquirrel nope i dont think so!! its bad to touch baby rats when they are too young like 3 DAYS OLD!!! seriously!!! look just to make sure go do a research and see wat u can find! that is wat i did to all my animals!! and by the way i have had animals more then you can imagine!! ( domistical ones)each year we buy new ones!! i love animals

they are cute and gross at the same time!! how can you hold them in your hands!! if you touch a rat while he is less then 3 months old or something like that the mom will eat it because it will have your smell on it!

@xihakuix That rule only goes with hamsters and other less social/intelligent rodents. As for rats, they remember the smell of their owner and the distinct smell of her babies, so babies rats = ok to touch. :D
