This was one of 14 dives we did in three days spearfishing in the Gulf of Mexico. This wreck is about 40 miles off shore on the West coast of Florida, and was one of four that we hit during this trip. The visibility was only about 20 feet on this wreck but we had seen 60' visibility out in the Middle Grounds about 100 miles off shore a couple days earlier. I only speared 3 fish on this dive as I was busy taking video of this neat wreck. My two dive buddies Nate and Art were diving this wreck also. Art was taking video of Nate spearing fish on the wreck. There were tons and tons of bait fish on this wreck and a few smalls, but not a lot of shootable sized fish. There were two Goliath Grouper on the wreck about 250-300 pounds each, and a 5' Barracuda. The video Art took on this dive would be interesting to see and mesh the two divers perspectives together on the same wreck - same dive - same time. There is a neat ambush at the end of Arts video (that took place near the end of the dive) after I had quit taking video.
