  • amazing job!! I'm an 8th grader and i got this solo a couple of days ago.its really amazing (:

  • It is a really nice piece. I enjoyed playing it more than any of the other pieces on my recital.

  • Really good! I'm a junior at my high school and I picked this solo for solo and ensemble contest. If you don't mind, I'll be using a bit of your ideas on the peice interpretation.

Anyways, good job. And thanks. Hopefully I'll be playing it like that by February!

  • I'm glad you enjoyed my performance. Absolutely, feel free to use some of my interpretations. Do try to make it your own piece, too. That was half the fun of this piece for me.

  • I really liked it. I'm a junior at my high school and i played it for solo and ensemble this year. You played some wrong notes i couldnt help noticing and your style of playing it was definately different but still you did an good job. I'm curious though.. what mallets did you use? and would you agree the second movement was the hardest even though it was the shortest?

  • Yeah, there were a few wrong notes. That's my weakness of nerves with performance. As far as style goes, I took quite a few "artistic liberties" yes, but the composer even wrote in the music to do so. Make it your own, you know?

The mallets I used were Mike Balter 23R with a 24R on the bottom for a softer tone.

    Thanks for the comment!
