U2 in the 90's, yes, I'd agree they were having fun. but try taking a look at the world from U2's point of view. entertaining their fans takes a back seat to transmitting a message. faith, justice, politics, grace... they spent the 90's in a state of satire, making fun of vanity, and I don't doubt they had fun doing it. but you just might be missing the message.

90's U2 was the band at its most fun. 80's U2 and current U2 have some good music but with a preachy wanker Bono. I liked the 90's Bono who spent as much time kicking ass as kissing it on the Oprah show
