I was thinking the same thing at first, but we're talking about Matusow here and he seemed to be hamming it up after the amateur told him it was the "highlight of his life" to beat him. Also, it appeared that the whole table including the dealer was taking it as funny.
But yeah, my definition of respectful doesn't include drunken F bombs and calling me a cocksucker. But if I just bluffed him for $10,000, I'd be laughing with him.

@skyward148 personal opinion really. But I much prefer the style of play where people dress up and take it very seriously and stay calm and collect.

@Brucy6666, technically poker back in the day there was no class and etiquette, if there was a bad beat you may have been shot. but once people started to become more mature, the game started to advance, and poker etiquette came about. If you don't wanna have etiquette you don't needa, it makes the game more wild and fun if you're being crazy.

It was for about a 3 year period between 2000 and 2003, but more because he came into money than anything else. When poor people come into money, booze and drugs are often a short term problem, and when Scotty Nguwen gave him 333k for staking him, Mike partied. The whole drug charges were a joke. An undercover agent tried to get Matusow to launder money in a sting, and when Mike didn't bite, he noticed Mike was into drugs and partying and set him up with on a drug buy. He did 6 months-no biggy!

Nenad Medic is just showing off his guns in the wife beater at the end of the table. Classy. I love watching Matusow play. He's smashed, but he's still respectful, unlike Nyugen.
