I fired up my coco3 not too long ago..
.. you know how sometimes looking back you are amazed at the things that were possible back in the day on these old computers? Well this was not one of those times :) Man, I don't know how I ever got by on that thing!

I think it's pretty obvious where the inspiration for this game came from.. The arcade game Crossbow from Exidy. Pretty sure that game even has a floating eyeball too.
First time seeing this game in action. Thanks for posting it!

The computer & the floppy drive are on a wood board & I think it does amplify the head seek mechanism. I don't know if you noticed the intermittent click sound? The FDD is a TEAC FD-55. The head load mechanism functions to make the head in contact with the disk when only required so as to reduce disk and magnetic head wear. This mechanism is constructed with head load solenoid, arm lifter, etc. So the click is that mechanism in action. I didn't cut the disk sound, that was a reality back then.
