Arthrogryposis child 3 years old - Arielle sliding at the park

Arielle is now 3 years old. She started walking at 2 years old and has made tremendeous progress over the past year. She is now walking with much stability but still thinks that her left knee is not bendable. When she will become aware that she can bend that knee enough, her walk will appear almost normal. Left knee bends up to 60 degrees by itself (enough for normal walking) and 90 degrees while being streched by me. She will be climbing stairs with the right leg leading, and will be going downstairs with the left one leading. either way, she is an amazing child, stubborn and determind to "do it herself" with no help. She is very proud of her achievemnets, knows that she is special, and loves to show off to the world what she can do! These children are truly gifted and their personality is like the sunshine. If you have a child with this condition, and it is very young, don't give up and think that just because they can't do much now, they wont be a spit fire later! Have faith and never speak negative thoughts of defeat next to them. They will hear you! And they will THINK that they cannot be better than they are. Always be positive and believe that the best is yet to come!!!!
You will be very surprised and pleased- i have no doubt!

Oh my God, my heart is going to melt! She reminds me so much of my daughter, same walk, same brown pony tail, same brown eyes. Born also with arthrogryposis, my daughter is 17 years old now and is a typical teenager, goes to high school, drives, has boyfriends and tons of friends. Your daughter is beautiful, God bless her and I wish her the best.

Mi hijo nacio con arthrogriposis multiples ,en la actualidad tiene 24 años ,cuando nacio fue el golpe màs terrible jamas recibido pero la rehabilitacion en la TELETÒN DE CHILE bajo la supervisiòn del doctor PATRICIO NUÑEZ ,quien lo opero de pies box, caderas (ambas),manos para darlas vuelta y poder usar los utencilios y computador ,hoy es un hombre felizmente casado,por recibirse de ingeniero de ejecucion,tiene una pyme,tiene un plotter,sacò licencia de conducir y es un joven independiente.
