@YoshimanDX yes, I know, you may never see a person before final jeopardy with 1 dollar. but if you watched the episode, he landed on a daily double (with one clue left on the board), bet everything except a dollar and missed the question.

@trlkly the only way he can win is if the other two opponets bet everything and miss it. And the person in first place almost never bets it all, unless "how'd the contestant get in first place?".
bottom line again: he had no way of winning, so he decided to do a pop. culture joke.

@ashcarl116 I believe there's an inhouse betting minimum. If the answer had actually dbeen difficult, he would have stood a chance at winning, assuming "poor" bets by the other two contestants. (Quotes because I don't agree with Jeopardy online's rules about that stuff.)
