  • No real surprise. One of my main boxes is an ibm dektop with a 1ghz Tualatin core cpu and 512mb of pc133 ram (the max the chipset supports). I decided to stick with windows xp and the thing runs like a champ. If I recall I have a Radeon 9200 pro installed.

  • @harshbarj I wish I had a Tualatin P!!!, I have like 5 Coppermines and 6 Katmais, but not a single Tualatin.

  • Looks completely usable too! I reckon with a full 1GB of RAM, a 128MB video card (like here), and a decent size hard drive, you could easily get away with a high end Pentium 3 (133MHz FSB versions, not the older 100MHZ FSB) and Windows 7, and squeeze a few more years out of an old PC.

  • After this video i laugh at people which say that for launching Windows 7 need at least Dual Core computer with 2 Gb of RAM and 512 Mb DirectX 10 videocard

  • love your config, P3 = )

  • Windows areo with a fx5200 :O

    Miracle

  • @davejoshmom1 I have to disagree with that. Vista was the most bloated OS from MS, they kept on bloating software until Windows 7, when they started stripping down.

  • ?!!? o.O ?!!?

     WTF !!??

  • @roy11231990 If you're using Windows 7 starter then it's impossible to change the background without 3rd party software
