Siva Panchamukha Nartanam: This part of Perini is done praising the five elements of nature, Prithvi (Earth), Agni (Fire), Vayu (Air), Akasa (Space) and Jala (Water) in turn invoking the same into the performer deriving the strength of the elements of nature into their bodies. Some of the ancient sounds of Mridanga and Kaivaras along with the other musical accompaniments are used in this item while performing. This partticular item is based on Prithvi Lingam (Earth).
