The cost of losing you.
I didn't know it would be so high.

Christmas time always makes me sad.
Yesterday was the 4th anniversary of my Grandmother's death.
The 26th will be the 8th anniversary of my Grandfather's death.
I was very close to them, and it hit me really hard when I found each of them had died.
I know at least one of them is in a better place, though, so I'm doing fine this season.

This video really touched me. I've never known death until this year and it frightens me to watch family members fade away. You expressed it well in your video. I'm sorry about your grandparents. I hope you feel better and continue to enjoy the holiday. =)

It means a lot to hear(read) someone say that. Not a lot of people have understood why I tend to either be overly-cheerful, or very VERY gloomy during the holiday season.
This year, luckily is one of my cheerful years :]
I'm not so frightened to see them go, it's just the thought of never laughing with them, them teaching me how to cheat at poker, all of those things, there's no way for me to imagine it gone, and yet, it is.
I will enjoy the holidays, since my car is finally being fixed! :]
