  • indian society disgusts me....i am indian by d way!

  • @IowaEngineering With all due respect, please don't call yourself an indian and disgust indians...

  • @mishrajay04 I make a lot of videos that are critical of America, the place of my birth, as well as Nigeria, the place of my ethnic origins. I feel that being critical & constructive at the same time, we are building a better nation. While in Delhi, I met a lot of folks who could not stand to hear a critical word about that city from someone perceived to be an outsider, though whites' words were greeted with yes sa'ab/ma'am. I do wonder how India will grow if dissent is discouraged from natives.

  • @diepiriye I completely agree and that's what Indian people need to struggle for. My point to IowaEngineering was just about the use of words like "disgust". I mean, no country is perfect. There is always room for improvement. Then why do people go for such absolute statements (that's my point). Even I am in the US, I know how things work both here and in India. With India, the problem regarding dissent is that they don't have much variation in terms of nationality. The whites are guest.

  • @mishrajay04 "Whites are guests?" well, whites are treated with such respect that it's hard NOT to notice, even if you are not sensitive to the implicit workings of race. The skin bleach madness, the fair-skin faces on all screens and print all makes for a surreal experience in INDIA.

  • @IowaEngineering Hopefully you'll find something to love. I lived in Delhi for 7 years & faced a whole lot of discrimination & implicit hate. Worse, no one wanted to talk about it, or wanted to portray it as a personal problem even though it was clear how the same sort of judgement was meted out to anyone who stood out. That judgement discouraged folks from honoring their uniqueness (unless drunk), but I found that I could share with folks the idea that we all suffer & deserve happiness, too.

  • @mishrajay04 With all due respect?? that means NONE right??!!

  • @diepiriye I have answers to the questions you are asking here. I meant to make an explanation but there is only limited space here for me to write stuff. And moreover, i am not very inclined at setting up a debate here. If you'd like a conversation, i'd welcome your conversation on a messenger.
