So much of Tsutomu's artwork doesn't seems to have been removed for the sake of the animators. The manga is still better.

The manga is way better, but still I really enjoyed this series, the animation was great, the colors were simply fitting perfectly. masterpiece.

The manga is a true masterpiece. If only a full anime adaption was to be created, with this same art style, I could die happy lol. The CGI film looks good, but... it just doesn't have that 'Nihei' feel to it.
