My Wheatie Teddy does the same thing but only when I come home from work. He greets me then jumps up on the coutch and rubs his face while snorting for a few minutes.

this is normal Wheaten behavior - my little Nollaig (pronounced 'nolly') does it too! When they have allergies they chew their feet. :(

Don't you realize your dog has allergies. Wheatons tend to have them, He's doing one of the things that dogs do when they are allergic.

Perfectly normal for wheatens... Part of their cleaning ritual, you wouldn't either go about with a dirty face :)
