  • TUNE YOUR GUITAR GURL. I love Wye Oak but the flatness of her top string is killing me....

  • JJ Abrams is in a band??!!

  • There were so many great artists at SXSW this year, especially the acts that weren't at "headliner" venues all over town. Sorry I missed your show, but glad you posted this. Love the acoustic version.

  • I like this, but I think it's better with ELECTRICITY.

  • A Person purposefully pervading a pretended posture of pretentiousness is perpetrating a plethora of public grievances, which generally guides the group's gabble towards a gratuitously garrulous jumble of jibes and other junk unrelated to the video at hand.

^That is being pretentious with one's vocabulary. (btw I didn't use a thesaurus if anyone was wondering)

Using the word "semantic" in normal conversation is not. Words are used to convey specific ideas, some do so better than others.

  • Just because you don't speak that way doesn't mean others don't ...

  • im pretty much pretending to be pretentious

  • @iceman992992 I understand those words, they're just not words people ordinarily throw out there unless they are trying to dazzle people with their supposed superior vocabulary.

  • @HonkIfYouLoveHonking Who's trying to be smart & pretentious? I was just trying to express myself. I wonder which part of my comment was pretentious, nonsense or requiring a thesaurus? Perhaps you didn't understand the word "semantic"? It means having to do with word usage. Did you understand the word "academic"? It means pertaining to the realm of scholarly thought (but carries the connotation: having little/no practical application). Did you understand "trivial"? It means everything you said.

  • @iceman992992 Oh you're smart! LOL. Throw around some pretentious nonsense and suddenly you're a genius! Let me get out my thesaurus and I'll show you.....

Naw, I have better things to do.
