"Journey Home"

"Journey Home" appears on the widely acclaimed
2009 debut album TIME STANDS STILL composed
and performed by Mike Howe, an ecologist working
in a National Park in Wales. Mike's follow-up album
ROUND RIVER is set for release July 13, 2010.

My guitarist/singer friend Pamela, known here on
YouTube as Harky1951, shared photos she took
of her hometown in North Dakota when attending
a high school reunion last year. Since North Dakota
is such an under-appreciated State, I thought Pam's
images and Mike's beautiful guitar would make an
ideal dedication to two American Smooth Jazz
guitar masters: YouTube's own legendary FreddyM223
as well as my personal guitar hero, Joe Bonini, in NJ
who celebrates his birthday today -- June 10th.

Freddy: Among other things you've done, Pam and I
are grateful to have found each other through you!

Joe: I hope to receive many more "first rose of summer"
photos from you -- not to mention the mp3s which make
me wonder why you're not on YouTube yet!

I just watched your Journey Home video and I dont know what to say. I couldnt have found better images to illustrate the feelings and emotions of the composition if Id tried. You have done a superb job and the video looks beautiful!! Im so grateful to you and feel so lucky that someone as talented as you could have taken so much time and care over a piece of music that came to me one morning but had been lying dormant inside for many years.Beautiful and perfect images - thank you and congratulations.Very best wishes Mike

It's been 25 days since Terry moved into her new heavely home. It's the first day that I could handle watching this wonderful montage she made with my photos. Terry had an eye for beauty unlike anyone I've known. She also saw the beauty inside of people. I am fascinated by reading these comments. I didn't know any of these kind people at the time and now so many of them are my YouTube friends. Terry was a master at bringing people together. I miss you. Sing with the angels for me...Pamela
