this game's not really based on an anime.
what makes GG stand out from other fighting games is that it uses anime inspired sprites unlike other 2D fighters. there was going to be a Guilty gear anime but it was a promo.

X2 Reload has story mode. it's the sequel to this one in the review, only difference is that they've balanced out the characters in it. you can still unlock the unbalanced characters of this game too, they're called ''white'' versions. I definately recommend this one or X2 Reload

well it would be good to compare X2 with XX accent core which Accent Core is a sequel to X2. But hands down X2 is freakishly awesome dude. Try them out for yourself....

you meant capcomr or SNK(which i prefer) fans. very loosely based on 3rd strike and samurai showdown. ggxx is easily on my top 5 2d fighters

Does the story mode is avaliable in all versions of Guilty Gear X2? like the XX: Slash, XX Reload, XX Accent Core and such? Im looking forward in gettin this game but im not sure what version would be the best...

That I dont know, I havent played those three, but I would assume that they would have a story mode.
You can ask someone at your nearest game store such as Gamestop or the back of the games case, also another good place to look it up would be Wikipedia.
Sorry I cant be much help here, but like I said, I havent played them.

hey good review, I was wondering what difficulty you were playing on, it seemed way to easy, I wanna play this game but I want it to be a challenge on arcane mode

It was either easy or medium. Trust me, youll get a good challenge if your raise the difficulty to hard or very hard, especially in arcade, due to the fact that I believe the last fighter has the potential to kill you in 1 hit.
