@jenoa01 Inorite? Kaelthas has a similar sucky end. He becomes fully tainted by fel magic and serves Kil'Jaden against Ilidan. He eventually goes back into Azeroth, betrays the rest of the elves, and tries summoning him through the sunwell before he's ultimately slain by the players.

Haven't played WoW and don't intend to, but I've been a fan of the universe since the first game. I was disappointed to see Arthas suffer for the rest of his life. He was a good man. Taking him through the human campaign in WC3 was a treat and Blizzard did a great job making a memorable character. (No surprise there) I just wish he'd been afforded some measure of peace and redemption before his end.
Maybe there's more to it than that. Guess I should read up a bit more. Sleep well, Prince Arthas
