'Painting Topical TIps' by Paul Taggart is a dedicated series that not only stands alone, but will also help you with the various Painting Tutorial Projects, Learn To Enjoy Painting episodes and so on.

Each episode concentrates on a particular aspect within a technique - in which Artist and Author Paul Taggart carries out a detailed demonstration, whilst also providing a running commentary.

In this two-part tutorial, he demonstrates that knowing how to exploit thin mixes of acrylic paint and thick mixes will enhance your experience of working in acrylics.

You will understand the versatility of working with acrylic paints, either in techniques commonly associated with watercolour (transparent colour) ; or gouache painting (opaque colour); or using techniques more commonly associated with oil painting.

Essential watching to help you develop your painting skills.
