I felt well sorry for Craig when Sonny stepped on his hand. I just wanted to hug him :c All Craig tried to do was stay our of trouble. I wish they killed sonny of in Hollyoaks instead of Eastenders lol.

BBC America picked up the US rights to the show from channel 4 back in 2007. Sadly, the ratings were abysmal and the show was pulled from the network. Very little of the McDean storyline was shown on BBCA before it was pulled. On the upside though, the fact it aired at all did increase interest in the show and storyline and the McDean fanbase gained a number of folks from the US who stuck with the storyline via YouTube through the Sunset Ending.

so which charcter was on the show first? It sounds like John Paul is the new charachter but if he's a McQueen shouldnt he have been on before this since the McQueen family plays a major part in the show?

No Craig and his family were already on the show for several years before the McQueens started showing up. They introduced the McQueens sort of one at a time and not in a bunch.

Why did John Paul look like he really didn't like either Sonny or Justin or both at the beginning? Were we supposed to think they had a history?

deutschviewer, No we weren't supposed to think they had a history. Jp was new to the village at that time. I think we were supposed to think he just didn't like Sonny and Justin acting like arseholes to someone.
