VerleeRose - Black Horse and the Cherry Tree - LIVE

VerleeRose is... Keira Verlee and Ellie Rose. We are two 15 year old singer/songwriters from Seattle, WA. We met as new students at a Seattle area middle school in 2005. Both of us loved music and had piano & voice lessons. We became friends instantly!

During 6th grade we shared the same piano and vocal teacher and became part of the most talented 6th grade choir group" our school had ever seen. It was then that we decided we would make music together someday.

In the summer of 2006 we both switched to guitar lessons, again from the same teacher, and we totally fell in love with it!

Then in 2008 we wrote and performed our first song together for our 8th grade graduation ceremony. It was at that moment we realized we really were going to make music together.

We spent the following summer writing songs and rehearsing and then recorded our debut album at The Old Firehouse Media Lab in Redmond, WA. We are very excited to offer you 3 tracks from this recording here on Myspace.

Our full length CD These Moments was released March 8, 2009 and is available for sale at most major online music stores like iTunes! Thanks for listening!

Filmed & Recorded LIVE at "The LAB" in Seattle. A great environment for young musicians to gain experience performing LIVE.
