  • Forward looking (Finance) use End Balance Sheet FA and Sales for the Year. In Accounting (backward looking) average the beg and end FA numbers and divide by the sales for the year.

  • thank you, your vid is really useful. But I have some questions... I was wondering how do I calculate the average ratios of say... fixed assets to sales? Do I just find the ratio for each year in the balance sheet... say 2000 and 2001 and 2002 and then add those, divide by 3??
