I think far more Kids Picked up Guitars after hearing Nirvana than they did with Stone Roses. so hardly most Influential Guitar band. Infact more kids wanted to Neck Es with the sound of the roses playing in the background. Than to learn 3 Chords

@zangeejoe Its a great album, I wouldn't take too much notice of the NME, they have a track record of missing the boat and then slandering anything that doesn't fit their narrow view of what music should be. They have had some great writers but they also have a lot of bitter failed musicians who want to be the musical Hunter D Thompson but end being more like Emma Thompson with a grudge. .
