A continuation of the Amarillo College Natural History Museum on line. This the MICHAEL RAY EVANS BUTTERFLY AND MOTH COLLECTION. As a teenager Mr. Evans had the opportunity to travel with the Lepidopterist's Society. On expeditions throughout the United States, Brazil, and Taiwan he amassed this collection. It is important because of it's scientific accuracy thus making it a cultural treasure for the community.

  • Thanks for the offer.

    It is difficult to ship.

If you can put the mothinto an envelope and put the in tupperware and ship it then send it to me at the college.

l'll be glad to accept it into the collection in you name.

    Regards.

  • I have a big moth on my balcony at the moment, he's very big and grey (Sydney, Australia) - he's still alive but I think he's come here to die. I have taken lots of photos of him (even put a little Santa hat on him) - he is so cute!! Does anyone want him?

  • Cool collection! Thanks for the show :-)
