This tutorial will show you how to rig eyes for animation in Blender. this is one of many ways out there, this is one of the simplest but one of the most effective by my standards.

I decided to make this tutorial after trying to find a video tutorial on animating and rigging eyes, i couldnt find one so i decided to make this one.

If you use this technique in one of your animations i think it would be awesome if you could post a video response with the video so other users can see how simple and powerful this method can be.

  • I think that a better approach to this would have been to put both of the bones in the same rig, but other than that, great tutorial!

  • if you have two identic objects you can use the mirror modifier. or use the array modifier if you want to make multiple objects from one (not mirrored).
