This work came as a natural part of my life. Firstly, all my childhood we had a reproduction of Vermeer's girl with the earring on the wall right oposit to my bed. So, this girl is my sister-in-art. Secondly, in the short breaks in my studies of medicine I've been reading Du côté de chez Swann by Marsel Proust. And Vermeer is constantly in the background there, so he is in the background of my counciesness too. When I saw this video, it just entered my head as a natural part of my own world.

Again and again, however we know the landscape of love
and the little churchyard there, with its sorrowing names,
and the frighteningly silent abyss into which the others
fall: again and again the two of us walk out together
under the ancient trees, lie down again and again
among the flowers, face to face with the sky.

Fantastico! Las tres piesas son, cada una en particular, mui profundas y pensivas.
El compositor es uno de los mas brillantes y artisticos de nuestra epoca. Me gusto mucho el video tambien!
Gracias, Jan!- Nathanel
