Insults are not allowed, voice your criticism in a civil manner.

  • @serenaluce

If I don't like something I generally just ignore it.

It's the "monkey manners" bit made me angry.

Would you say something like this in her face?

Commenting on a Youtube video is not much different,

the singers can very well watch them too.

    PS

She's awesome and I disagree with everything you say.

  • @serenaluce

Well, it would be good if there was no reforms because as you see I prefer the pre-reform opera anyway :P

I can understand why someone could say that this voice is not beautiful, but it is interesting and that is far more important quality than beauty. Not to mention that beauty is entirely subjective. Also I'm sure that when discussing this with her in person you would put your arguments in a bit more diplomatic way. Everyone is an hero on the internet under the cover of anonymity.

  • @Thrax1982 Serenaluce is just being her usual nasty self. She hates mezzos and contraltos singing roles she thinks BELONG to contertenors. She must have been born in a barn ... as they say in the country. You should see the many posts she has contributed about Mary Ellen Nesi singing trouser roles.

  • Prina is a mezzosoprano disguised in contralto manners through a great low range, swelling the sound (this is way she sounds sometimes heavy) and darkening it, but she is very uncomfortable in this parts. Hope she stops pretending to be a contralto and she finds her true nature.

  • sonia's voice always gives me so much pleasure. pragtig!
