I noticed this when EA had that DLC for Madden and I was disgusted then.

I hate DLC. I'm one of those people that feel if I pay 60 bucks for a game, I should get the DLC for free. Especially if it's something minor. I love when games come out now and right off the bat they have DLC that you have to pay for. It really doesn't make any sense to me. At least with Mass Effect, as long as you purchased the game you got the DLC that came with it. So for once they got it right.

The new moves they are selling sort of pisses me off too cause it's like you pay $60 for a game, then you gotta pay $4 to get a move that should have been in the game in the FIRST PLACE and also new relics. Notice how when you got all the relics there were still 4 empty spots? Well that 's cause they were planning on charging us for them...

all the game companies are doing it. some ppl have more money than patients lol. dlc is a cheaters paradise in some cases lol. at least the developers are getting paid for the cheats now, instead of "third party hackers".

I watched the Dark Forest Walkthrough and I didnt have to get the DLC. Got my moneys worth! I see it this way; people have money to blow and there are lazy people that want to top powers immediately without earning them. They can pay if for all I care. More money in the economy! Gotta find some way to get that cash out of those rich bastards!

Yeah I agree. It's shameful for the Game Industry(Which I am currently working in) to treat their own customers like that. Map Packs are pathetic too. Some map packs are Kb in size and they want 800MS points for it(Dunno what that is for PS3) or just something stupid. The new Bioshock 2 DLC is on the disc, but you have to pay for it to be unlocked. Complete bullturd.

5000 souls for $3.99? C'mon just like you say you can earn that very easily in the game. I can't imagine people actually buying this. I mean YOU CAN GET THAT IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES and also AFTER YOU COMPLETE THE GAME AND BOUGHT ALL UPGRADES, WHAT ARE THE SOULS GOOD FOR? I HAVE ALL UPGRADES MAXED OUT AND 60,000+ SOULS AND NOTHING TO WASTE THEM ON. EA SHAME ON YOU!!. At the end the $3.99 wasted will amount to nothing and have no use .

@akaBarneyPhife DLC is an excuse, Devs will use DLC as a way to make "easy money" so to speak. It doesn't cost  nearly as much (compared to disc based distribution) to upload a file to a sever for digital distribution.

Devs will say they want you to experience all aspects of the game. If that were true it would have been on the disc beforehand. To make a long story short I don't believe in paying another $10 for something that should be in the game already. Map Packs are the worst IMO.
