The Rainbow Connection - as performed by The Valley Voices - Spring 2009

When I was a little boy, for some odd reason the song "The Rainbow Connection" would make me burst into tears. You know the song made famous by Kermit the frog?? Yeah, that one. I don't know why it had this effect on me per se... I was just a very sensitive little kid. Not only did Kermit's version get me bawling, but I have strong memories of my Dad, tucking me in at night & singing this song... it had the same effect. At his choral group's 2009 Spring concert... "The Rainbow Connection" was on the set-list. I couldn't resist... I had to set up the flip cam and record this one for posterity. This is dedicated to my Dad, a man who will always be an inspiration & personal hero to me.
