Sleeping Beauty-Once Upon a Dream/J'en ai rêvé French/Français

Lyrics/Letra:

Aurora/Aurore:

Mon amour, je t'ai vu
Au beau milieu d'un rêve
Mon amour, un aussi doux rêve
Est un présage d'amour

Refusons, tous deux, que nos lendemains
Soient mornes et gris
Nous attendrons l'heure
De notre bonheur
Toi, ma destinée
Je saurai t'aimer
J'en ai rêvé

Nous attendrons l'heure
De notre bonheur
Toi, ma destinée

Prince Philip/Príncipe Felipe/Prince Philippe:

Je saurai t'aimer, tu l'as rêvé

Mon amour, tu m'as vu
Au beau milieu d'un rêve
Mon amour, un aussi doux rêve
Est un présage joli

Choir/Coro/Chœurs:

Refusons que nos lendemains
Soient mornes et gris
Nous attendrons l'heure
De notre bonheur
Toi, ma destinée
Je saurai t'aimer
J'en ai rêvé

  • Princess Aurora can be met at the France pivillion at EPCOT in Disney World. If you ask her if she's French she'll say yes. Sleeping Beauty takes places in France.

  • Wow, it's Danielle Licari! She's stupendous

  • greedings from norway here never understood how everybody are over the moon for french but this clip completely change my view on the whole french culture and language it's beautiful, and just gotta say i looooove the look on her face when she first realize that something is definitely wrong!

  • @DONOTBEAHOMO I'm french and I went to England also, and there are more castles of this architecture in France rather than England

  • The only think about this that bothers me if how weak Phillip's singing voice is..I know it's supposed to be carefee, but I always imagined him with a deep voice.

  • @DONOTBEAHOMO Originally the Sleeping Beauty (La Belle Au Bois Dormant) is a fairytale from Charles Perrault in 1697. It has French Origins.

  • @DONOTBEAHOMO oh! Sorry I meant the 1300's! i.e., the 14th century!! (Coz we move a century forward!!)

  • @rishabhrox1 It's from the 14th century, Philip noted that in the movie. :/

  • Listen to the english version after this. anybody else notice how light and carefree the french version is and how how heavy and forced the english version is?

  • @DONOTBEAHOMO It was the 13TH Century Wasnt it?!?! THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION HASNT TAKEN PLACE TILL NOw! ITS NOT A STUPID DETAIL!! IT Proves Aurora is FRENCH!! Yet I consider your words that maybe she's not purely French because li'l bit of artwork was also taken from Russia!! :)
